Vibrating feeders use unbalanced motors or an exciter shaft to throw the feed material forward in small jumps, metering it evenly into the crusher while grizzly bars scalp out fines. Screens stratify material on a vibrating deck so that undersize passes the apertures and oversize conveys off the end. Stroke, speed and deck angle are tuned to the material and the separation required.

Every NORDVIK feeder and screen is engineered as part of the complete crushing circuit: capacities, strokes and deck areas are calculated together with the crushers they feed or size, so the plant runs balanced from day one.
